I love skateboarding.  Since 1987, no recreation has ever been so fulfilling to me.  Skating has shaped my life considerably, stimulating my interests in graphics, art, and architecture while allowing me to engage in a culture that’s constantly developing and growing.  I am an artist and designer, but most genuinely a skater who wants to contribute to my community by pro-moting recreation, self-expression, and fun most of all.

Since 2002, I’ve been designing skateboard graphics under the MONO (pronounced moe-no) label.  Since my youth, friends have described my skating and snow-boarding style as monkey-like, hence the Spanish nickname.  All decks are North American Hard Rock Maple made in the USA.  I apply the designs using spray paint and stencils and finish with a clear polyurethane coat.
