With risograph printing, each ink color has to be specially chosen (in this case yellow, black, blue, and fluorescent pink) and the file must be separated before printing, much in the same way a screen print is done, but printed using a risograph printer, a type of digital printer/copier machine. Because each color is printed separately, each print may be aligned slightly differently or have uneven ink coverage, giving risograph prints their special charm and riso "look."
