Vermouth is an Italian aromatized fortified wine, flavored with various botanicals such as roots, barks, flowers, seeds, herbs, and spices.
In this class you will embark on a sensory journey as we explore the rich history of Italian vermouth. Surrounded by the aromas of hand-selected herbs and spices, you will craft the perfect cocktail and learn of all the different ways you can use Vermouth at home. Each student will make and take home their very own bottle of vermouth.
Our neighbor, Ruth, from Bello Manzo rounds out this international tasting tour, providing Italian appetizers that will accompany your vermouth cocktail making.

Suzie Anker, of Anker Bar and Events Co. is a Fredericksburg-based bartender extraordinaire and has been serving up spirits at some of the city’s most popular events through the years. Her classes combine the history of cocktails and their ingredients with a contemporary insight on mixing and preparing specialty drinks.
